FBi RADIO'S SYDNEY SPAWN
FBi Radio and Clinical Radio are stoked to bring you the second instalment of SYDNEY SPAWN,
our new monthly band night showcasing some of our favourite Sydney upstarts.
On stage and under lights this time round are Paper Scissors, The Spirits,
Rapids and Of The Red Sea, with the entertainment kicking on late with Bad Wives & FBi DJs.
With a passion for supporting and nurturing Sydney music on-air 365 days a year,
SYDNEY SPAWN is just another way for FBi to give a leg up to new Sydney bands.
FBi’s Music Director, Dan Zilber says “Following the recent closure of venues such
as The Hopetoun Hotel, Sydney’s breeding grounds for bands to cut their live teeth,
we wanted to give bands another opportunity to play in a supportive environment.”
Musicians coming along are encouraged to bring their demos for FBi DJs to play on the
night, as well as be considered for future lineups.Friday April 30, 9pm till late.
Civic Underground, Pitt St. Tickets are $10, $5 if you’re an FBi Supporter. Free entry
